William Grote papers, 1888-1918

This collection of William Grote's papers focus mainly on his dealing with the Kentucky Title Company, including receipts for bonds, coupons for gold coin, a letter to Grote from the Kentucky Title Co. regarding the cancellation of his bonds, an insurance policy, deeds of land from J.B. Harves to Edward H. Otto and from Otto to Grote, and two separate First Lien Gold Bonds. Also included is a letter from Grote's lawyer, Henry G. Bedinger, to Nicholas Bibelhauser regarding the ownership of the tract of land.
